About these Terms and Conditions

In these Terms and Conditions "we" and "us" mean Online Pet Cart - ABN: 71 126 995 998 and "you" and "your" means you the customer.

These Terms and Conditions together with your order constitute the entire Contract between us and you for the supply of Products. No other Terms and Conditions will apply. The Contract cannot be varied unless we agree to vary it in writing or by email prior to the event.

Legal Capacity to Transact

If you are under the age eighteen (18) years you can not place orders with Online Pet Cart.

By accepting these Terms and Conditions you acknowledge that you are over the age of eighteen (18) years. Any orders placed and accepted by us will be deemed to be by persons over the age of eighteen (18) years.

Should Online Pet Cart suffer any damage or other losses as a result of a transaction entered into by a minor, Online Pet Cart reserves the right to seek compensation for such losses from the parents or guardians of the minor who caused any order(s) to be placed with Online Pet Cart.

Placing Your Order

You may place your order by filling in the order form on this website.

When you place your order, we will issue you with an order number. We will do this by email.

By placing an order, you make an offer to us to purchase the products you have selected based on these Terms and Conditions.

We will confirm acceptance of your order when we send you an email confirming shipment of the goods you have ordered.

If we cannot process or accept your order after payment is received we will contact you by email or telephone.

Online Pet Cart reserves the right to refuse service, terminate accounts, remove or edit content, or cancel orders at its sole discretion.

Payment Methods and Processing

Online Pet Cart accepts Visa/MasterCard (processed by eWay $0.00 fees) and PayPal (PayPal surcharge applies at 2.9% plus $0.50 of total order).

Payments can also be made by direct deposit to our bank account. Orders paid for by direct deposit will not be processed until payment has been received. Please ensure that you include the order/ invoice number in the transaction description.


Payments of orders placed on a weekend or a public holiday will not be processed until the next working business day.

Business days are Monday through Friday, excluding all Queensland public holidays.

After you click the "Submit My Order" button we receive an email that your payment was submitted but the order will not be processed until the physical funds are cleared to our bank account.

We will email a tax invoice to you with your order confirmation. Your tax invoice is your proof of purchase.

Please Note:

We will not accept credit cards issued by banks outside of Australia. Our preference in this instance is direct debit or payment via PayPal.

Debit cards and cheque cards have daily spending limits that may substantially delay the processing of your order.

You may be required to provide further identification for additional security reference checks.

If your PayPal payment is funded by an echeque this may substantially delay processing your order while payment clears.


All prices quoted on this website are inclusive of GST except for items that are exempt from GST. Items that include GST and the total GST paid will be clearly marked on the invoice.


Online Pet Cart always seeks to list Products with the most competitive prices.

Online Pet Cart reserves the right to change prices for Products displayed at the Online Pet Cart website at any time, due to the price fluctuation provided by our distributors.

Supply of Products

Subject to these Terms and Conditions, we will supply to you the products indicated on your order confirmation.

When your ordered items have been dispatched by eParcel, we will email you to confirm shipment of each item including a tracking number for each item. If you do not have insurance and we have had to choose other shipping methods a tracking number may not be supplied.

PLEASE NOTE: Due to volume of orders and the time taken to manually track bank transfers and Paypal (with no credit card only) these orders will be deleted if payment is not received within 5 working days.

Refund Policy

If you find that the goods were faulty in some manner or not what you ordered, please contact us within 24 hours of receiving the goods to discuss.

Online Pet Cart is not obliged to provide a refund, credit or exchange if you as the customer have:

  • Changed your mind, decided you no longer want the goods or just don't like them, or found that the goods are the wrong size, flavour or colour.
  • You found you can buy the same or similar goods elsewhere for a cheaper price.
  • Purchased and item when the goods are clearly labelled as seconds or a faulty clearance item.

Please choose carefully. The majority of our items on our website (including without limitation, muzzles, incontinent pants, syringes, needles, grooming items, food etc) cannot be resold for health or hygiene reasons once unwrapped or despatched. Due to this reason we do not normally give refunds or offer exchanges or credits if you simply change your mind or make a wrong decision. 

For any other reasons that you may request or require a refund please contact us to discuss immediately.

If a refund is still required you will need to organise the safe return of the goods by registered post including insurance back to Online Pet Cart - PO Box 4001 Loganholme 4129.

PLEASE NOTE: We will only offer/issue a refund if the product has not been opened, used or damaged in anyway and is within 7 days of the purchase date.

PLEASE NOTE: Customers will be responsible to pay the full cost of return postage including insurance and be only credited/refunded the purchase price of the product only. Under no circumstances is the postage refunded to send the product originally or to return the product back to us.

A 15% restocking fee based on the cost of the product will be deducted from your purchase amount plus any payment processing fees that we incured to process your payment. Postage charges are NOT REFUNDABLE. (Again the customer will need to organise the return of the goods by registered post including insurance) and only after the item is received and inspected by us will a refund or credit be issued.

Sale and clearance items are under no circumstances refundable.

Products Damaged in Transit

Australia Post eparcel is not automatically insured. If you require insurance incase of loss or damage in transit it is the customers responsibility to select the option with "With FULL Insurance Cover" and this will insure your order while in transit. If you have advised us to instruct the driver to leave your parcel (Authority To Leave) your order is not insurered for theft from your property.

Online Pet Cart takes care when packaging any item but does not take any responsibility for damage during transit. If you believe an item to be damaged please contact us immediately or speak with your local Australia Post Retailer. This is best done before signing for your consignment if you can see obvious physical damage to the parcel. Or if the damage is internal, you signed without looking or you had an authority to leave it must be done as soon as possible after you have identify any damage either externally or internally. You will need to keep all of the packaging and fill used to pack your order, your order ID and your tracking number when calling us or going to your Australia Post Retail. Most importantly you must have paid for insurance on your order for any claim to be considered.

Delivery Charges

EParcel postage fees vary on items over 500grms (per kilo charges apply on top of base rate based on your location), items under 500grms have a flat rate of $7.50 Australia wide only. Online Pet Cart reserves the right to change prices for delivery at any time.

If your order exceeds the weight of 22kg using eParcel, an additional base rate will apply. For example, your order weighs 26kg, for Brisbane this would then cost a total of $15 for delivery. $8.50 for the first 22kg plus $8.50 for next 4kg but up to 22kg.

Any lost, delayed or damaged orders using Australia Post Standard Services OR their eParcel service and is not insured is at the customers risk and all liablilities are passed onto the customer from time of dispatch from Online Pet Cart.

Delivery Times

All orders on this website are processed and dispatched within 24 -72 hours Monday to Friday excluding public holidays. If there are any unforeseeable delays, you will be contacted by our customer service team.

Orders will be shipped to you by Australia Post eParcel or where most appropriate, a Courier Service or other delivery method may be used and is of our choosing. If we need to use Australia Post Standard service and you did not have insurance please allow up to 7 days or you may refer to Australia Post's website for further details of this standard delivery service at www.auspost.com.au

With Australia Post eParcel we recommend that your nominated delivery address is one where someone is present to accept your delivery between the hours of 7.00am and 5.00 pm.  If no one is present when we attempt delivery we will either leave your consignment in a safe place, or leave a calling card and make the consignment available for collection from a nearby Australia Post retail outlet, according to your preference.


  • With Australia Post eParcel, insurance can be included for $1.50 per $100 if required and the package must be signed for. If no one is present when we attempt delivery we will leave a calling card and make the consignment available for collection from a nearby Australia Post retail outlet.
  • Once purchases have been dispatched, we cannot be held responsible for items lost or damaged in transit if you request the item to be left at the door.

With our nominated Courier Service we recommend that your nominated delivery address is one where someone is present to accept your delivery between the hours of 7.00am and 5.00 pm. Our courier cannot guarantee a specific delivery date or time.  If no one is present to accept the delivery a slip will be left in the mail box so that you can negotiate a suitable arrangement for final delivery or collection additional charges may apply.

Although every effort is made to ship your order according to the estimated delivery times provided, estimated ship times may change due to changes in supply or circumstances beyond our control. If your Product has not arrived after the estimated delivery time, please contact us .

Title and risk of loss to all products will pass to you on delivery. 

Limitation of Liability

Information on this website is provided 'as is' and we disclaim all representations, warranties and conditions, express or implied of any kind, including to the extent permitted by law, as to satisfactory quality or fitness for purpose.

While we make every effort to ensure that the information contained within the website is complete, accurate and current, we expressly do not guarantee that the information is complete, accurate or current and assume no responsibility for any errors or omissions of any kind in the content of the website.

We reserve the right to amend or supplement the information supplied on this website without prior notice.

Links available on the website link to websites not maintained or controlled by us. We provide these links for your convenience and are not responsible for their content and do not endorse any pages linked to this website. This also applies to any links to which this website refers, whether directly or indirectly.

ALL product images and content is for information purposes only and you should consult your vet for product suitability for your animal. Due to manufacturers constantly changing their packaging and content all those displayed on this site are as an example and information purposes only and the actual product you order may look different to that displayed on our site for that product.

We shall not be liable to any party for any direct, indirect, special, or consequential damages or any damages whatsoever resulting from miss use, incorrect product selection, incorrect use and/or administration of product. Including but not limited to any expenses arised from a result of miss use, incorrect product selection, incorrect use and/or the  administration of product whether in an action of negligence as you as the customer, or other action arising out of any use of our products discription or in relation/connection with the content or performance of this website and references made on it at any time.

Other than for the purposes of fair dealing, criticism, review, study or research, you may not copy, print or store by electronic or any other means a part or the whole of this websites pictures or its contents.


You shall not assign any rights and obligations under these Terms and Conditions whether in whole or in part without the prior written consent of Online Pet Cart. Any unauthorised assignment shall be deemed null and void.

If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is held by any competent authority to be invalid or unenforceable in whole or in part, the validity of the other provisions of these Terms and Conditions and the remainder of the provisions in question shall not be affected thereby.

Under the Trade Practices Act 1974 ("Act"), where implied conditions and warranties cannot be excluded, any liability in Online Pet Cart for breach of such conditions and warranties (other than a condition or warranty implied by section 69 of the Act) shall be limited, at the option Online Pet Cart, to the replacement of the Product(s) or the re-supply of the same Product(s); the payment of the cost of replacing the Product(s) or of acquiring equivalent Product(s).

Neither our failure nor your failure to enforce any Term or Condition constitutes a waiver of such Term or Condition. Such failure shall in no way affect the right to later enforce such Term or Condition.

Online Pet Cart reserves the right to change the Terms and Conditions of sale at any time.

No Online Pet Cart employee or agent has the authority to vary any of the Terms and Conditions governing any sale.

Force Majeure

Online Pet Cart shall not be liable for any delay in performing any of its obligations under these Terms and Conditions if such delay is caused by circumstances beyond the reasonable control of Online Pet Cart, and Online Pet Cart shall be entitled to a reasonable extension of time for the performance of such obligations.

Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Queensland and shall be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Queensland.
